Built for the Long Haul—Just Like Us We’re the Randolph family from Cache Valley, Utah—and this all started with a broken zipper and a soggy backpack. Like most busy families, we were constantly hauling gear for school, hikes, work, church, and everything in between. But no matter how many backpacks we bought, they’d rip, jam, or fall apart within a few months. One day after our son came home from a scout trip with his books soaked and his pack torn, we figured: Why not find something better—and share it with others? So we did. With help from family and a little savings, we found a canvas bag tough enough for Utah life—something with real space, quality stitching, and no flashy gimmicks. We set up a table at the local farmers market in Logan and sold out the first morning. Since then, we’ve grown a little, but our mission is still the same:Make backpacks that actually last.Make them affordable.And treat every customer like a neighbor.We call our bags Cache Packs—after the valley we call home. Every order still gets packed by us in our garage, often with a handwritten thank-you from Dad and a checklist from Mom.
